The Town of Grand Coteau is seeking a Full time Assistant Clerk, the minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual establishments and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.
- Wide variety of administrative responsibilities in assisting Town Clerk
- Balancing accounts
- Billing
- Assists for monthly/special meeting; attend all meetings
- Prepares weekly reports of all cash receipt
- File, maintains, retrieves, tracks requests for town records
- Performs similar or related work as required
Skills:
- Accounting, organization, verbal and written communication, and customer service skill; Microsoft suite.
