Position Summary:
Provide administrative support for the division asset protection (AP) manager and asset protection field staff. Support the AP department through confidential, administrative and technical functions. Act as a liaison with other departments, staff and external business contacts. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for managers and staff
- Produce and assemble materials and documents needed for meetings, presentations and training sessions; transcribe letters, memos and reports
- Send “Alerts” and “Be on the Lookout” (BOLO) notifications to district and store AP associates
- Collect and organize information for AP surveys and projects
- Review and recap operating statements and approve invoices for payment
- Maintain and disseminate assorted reports and spreadsheets for AP and operations managers
- Facilitate communications between store management, district management and AP staff
- Coordinate AP events, meetings and travel itineraries
- Administer and maintain the division department website
- Act as the division administrator for the AP management system and input reports
- Maintain confidential investigation files for the AP staff
- Manage the filing of case reports and the preservation of all evidence for hearings and legal proceedings
- Serve as a liaison between third party civil recovery vendors and the division for the management of the civil recovery program
- Interact with district attorneys to facilitate the collection and distribution of court-ordered restitution payments
- Assist with the enrollment of division office associates in card access and alarm systems
- Assist with payroll and track schedules of AP specialists to facilitate any necessary corrections
- Interact with various law enforcement agencies and the AP representatives of other retailers regarding activity requiring investigation or research; interact with various vendors and contractors throughout investigations
- Provide customer service that makes customers, vendors and associates feel welcome and appreciated

Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Excellent phone, communication and multi-tasking skills; good typing and filing skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, write reports and correspondence and read/understand operating statements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new computer programs
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Self-motivated/directed; strong organizational, prioritization and planning skills
- Demonstrated professional demeanor and ability to follow through
Desired Previous Job Experience:
- Experience supporting multiple managers
- Familiarity with Kroger systems; ability to run reports from applications
