Position Description:
The Director of Nursing, responsible to the Administrator, is accountable and responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the clinical operations of the Surgery Center. The Director of Nursing assures quality care, safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies. The Director of Nursing establishes a professional and respectful relationship with staff, physicians, and regulatory agencies, and coordinates activities, as appropriate, with the Administrator, Medical Director, Business Office Manager, and Clinical Review Committee.
Requirements:
- Current licensure in the State of Nevada as a registered nurse; BSN required, Master's preferred.
- Managerial/Supervisory competence and three (3) years management/supervisory experience in an ambulatory surgery center or a hospital surgery department.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
