The Painters and Drywall finishers Local 159, the Glaziers Local 2001, and the Floor Coverers Local 1512
Joint Apprenticeship Committees will be accepting applications for the purpose of establishing a pool of eligible candidates for Painters, Drywall Finishers, Glaziers and Floor Coverers.
Applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from July 8, 2019 through July 31, 2019 between the hours of 8 am-10 am and 1 pm-2 pm each day.
All applicants must meet the following requirements, no exceptions:
A. Must be at least 18 years of age or older
B. Must possess either a High School Diploma or G.E.D. or High School Equivalency
C. Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the trade without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or any other individuals within reasonable accommodations.
D. Must participate in a basic math evaluation for ranking purposes
E. Must appear before JATC Board for oral interview
The following documents must be provided at the time of application:
1. Birth Certificate
2. High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate or High School Equivalency
3. Valid government issued photo ID
4. Military release papers DD-214 if applicable
5. Proof of previous trade experience if applicable
