Project Coordinator - Real Estate Development
To support the bank in the planning and implementation of new construction and existing facilities related projects. These include the management of a various scale of projects at Banking Centers and other Bank Owned Real Estate property which may include vacant, residential property, or other unique properties. While based in Phoenix, other regions of responsibility would include the Denver and the Los Angeles markets. Partners with Real Estate Development and Facilities Staff while coordinating with internal partners such as Banking Center Managers, Corporate Technology, Security departments throughout construction or project phases to ensure timely and high quality end-product with as little disruption to regular operations as possible.
Leading responsibility for and proactively manages, collects, and processes the required documentation and submittal information on capital design & construction projects including project schedules, estimating, bidding, and pricing.
Assisting in providing a systematic, accurate, timely, and professional approach from project kick-off to its closeout.
Manages project scope along with cost changes and ensures field changes are documented and approved as needed while communicating relevant and accurate information, using discretion and judgment when planning and organizing work.
Initiating and following through in setting up and organizing the administrative structure to be used and maintained throughout the life of a project with the expectation of an extremely high quality of work completion.
Resolves substandard workmanship and/or scheduling issues with consistent proactive communication with vendors providing the work or material.
Showing initiative and following-up with problematic situations. Working well with others and contributing to team efforts.
Advising the Real Estate Development and Facilities team on policies and procedures concerning operational issues relating to business and financial operations.
Position Requirements:
Very strong attention to detail with the ability to follow up and provide status updates clearly, concisely, and expediently. Team player with good oral, written, and graphic communication skills.
Strong project management skills with an awareness of project schedules, goals, and milestones in order to properly plan and track to completion.
Driven, self-starter capable of taking ownership of projects / tasks with minimal direction with the ability to multi-task and take direction and provide feedback to multiple team members.
Basic understanding of common construction materials such as tile, stone, carpet, drywall, paint, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building trades.
Flexible work hours to oversee vendor work occurring off hours to limit disruption to staff and customers.
Computer/Software proficiency with a smartphone and MS Outlook, E-Mail, Excel, Word, required with Project, Photo Shop, CAD, Adobe Suite, and Sketch Up preferred.
Must be physically capable of operating vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable driving record.
