The Role
Intuitive is seeking a Market Research Analyst to provide critical analytic, project management support and relationship skills to a wide range of customer insight initiatives at Intuitive. This individual will conduct both primary and secondary market research studies and analyses. The Market Research Analyst will play a key role in fulfilling our department’s mission of identifying marketplace opportunities and reducing business decision making risk. He/she will support the Group Manager, Market Research and the New Product Development Market Research Lead with: confirming business decisions and research objectives, identifying the target audience, determining methodology, designing and programming surveys, managing projects, analyzing data and delivering presentations. This role is designed to provide opportunities for the analyst to gain valuable market research and collaboration skills so that he/she may progress in his/her career.
Duties and responsibilities
• Assist team members by actively consulting with business partners to understand business decisions
• Develop and refine research objectives, study methodology and discussion guides, questionnaires
• Analyze study results
• Develop and deliver study reports/presentations to business partners
• Use creativity to meet insights needs with limited resources
• Be a passionate Voice of the Customer at cross-functional meetings
• Seek opportunities to grow as a professional market researcher
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience analyzing problems using data sets, logic and holistic thinking
• Experience with both primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary methodologies.
• Undergraduate level degree
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with SPSS statistical software is preferred
• Ability to select and proactively manage outside research partners
• Proficiency or ability to learn Qualtrics end user survey tool
• Willingness and desire to learn new skills and move beyond “comfort zone”
