Software Engineer

Health Plan of Nevada, Inc., a UnitedHealth Group company, seeks a Software Engineer for our Las Vegas, NV location to develop innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support; responsible for design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver value to our organization.

Requires Bachelor's degree or equiv. in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 2 years related experience.

Must have 12 months demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following with:

  1. ASP.NET with C# / VB.NET focused on domain-driven design and programming;
  2. Native JavaScript focused on object and functional design and programming integration with HTML and Cascading Style Sheets;
  3. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) working with Intranet and Internet responsive applications based on webforms, Model-View-Controller (MVC), Model-View-View Model (MVVM), single page apps, as well as web Application Programming Interface (API) restful services; and
  4. Relational database object modeling, design, and programming. Will accept experience gained concurrently.
