CPO / CO / Board-eligible Practitioner
East Coast Orthotic & Prosthetic Corp. is currently recruiting clinically-experienced CPOs, COs and Board-eligible Practitioners to join our growing team. Qualifications:
- Must maintain valid certification and appropriate CEU requirements.
- Must maintain all Medical and Corporate Compliance Requirements, as per Federal, State, NYC and/or Company Standards
- Experience with orthotic management and the diagnoses of children a PLUS
- Experience working for an O & P Practice, preferably in a hospital-setting preferred (newly certified clinicians will be considered)
- Time Management & Delegation Skill-sets
- Knowledge of Insurance / Billing a Plus
- Must take accountability for patients and accounts, further educate and rectify issues by taking initiative
- Must have the means to travel to multiple locations if/as needed (primarily within NY-metro area)
- Willing to learn, possess excellent communication skills and be a team player
- Must desire a busy schedule and work environment.
Salary for Certified Practitioners: Starting at $80k-plus, dependent on experience for CPOs
Salary for Board-eligible Practitions: Salary range of $70k - $75k
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to :
- Will work hands-on with patients and alongside physicians.
- Will measure, mold, fit and be an intricate part of item production for patients.
- Will be responsible for deliveries, education & follow-up sessions w/ patients.
- May travel to multiple facilities, hospitals, patient homes will be needed at times (within the Western NY regional area)
- Work with Lab & Purchasing Teams to assure products arrive timely for patients
- Coordinate patient appointments with your staff CSR(s) and patients.
- Adhere to and ensure that policies and procedures are followed in department and that any compliance issues are addressed with the Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer.
