Credit Analyst
This is an exciting new opportunity to join the EAC Funding Inc. team to grow our company to the next level. We are a well-established underwriting company engaged in purchasing medical liens related to personal injury cases. EAC Funding Inc. can underwrite and make payments to doctors, attorneys, and clients quickly. Our staff provides fast, professional, and reliable services to medical providers and their clients. We are looking for an experienced credit analyst to join our team and help us diversify our portfolio. As our Credit Analyst, you will assist with reviewing applications, evaluating risk and processing new and renewal business from clients, medical providers, and attorneys. The Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting and coordinating the underwriting process for client onboarding from the credit and risk perspective. You must be able to perform analysis merits under specific guidelines and be able to maintain a good working knowledge of loan policies and procedures and identify exceptions to policy. The ideal candidate will review loan files as needed to ensure quality, consistency and compliance with lending guidelines from Our Company.
Work Schedule: Full-Time
Number of hours per week: 40 hours per week
Daily Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Salary: DOE
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for determining the risks, credit history analysis, and credit worthiness in lending money for prospective clients, medical providers, and attorneys
- Obtain all available and necessary financial data for the credit and servicing requests for the acquisition of medical liens
- Spread and analyze financial statements of applicants and/or current obligors - study and evaluate the medical liens for personal injury cases and prepare written reports for the lender
- Consult with clients, attorneys, and healthcare providers regarding eligibility and premium options
- Perform complex financial modeling in Excel and other financial systems
- Determine credit analysis and due diligence research on multiple medical services and healthcare providers
- Recruits staff members.
- Provides training to the administrative team (2 employees) in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, applicable state/federal guideline.
Required Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
- Two (2) years of experience in credit analysis or equivalent financial analysis is required
- Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information and the skill to design and use financial models
- General working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SAP, and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Must pass a criminal history background check
